Today we're dishing out all of our favorite places to take photos in Boise, for free!! Just because we want to serve you all the very best we can. Boise is full of beautiful backdrops, and your engagement, couples, or family session deserves a location that feels just right. Whether you’re into mountains, downtown vibes, or quiet green spaces, we’ve got a spot for you.


We believe your location should tell part of your story. We always encourage our clients to pick a location that's meaningful to them first, like the location of your first date, or where your fiance got engaged, BUT we also understand sometimes you just need a beautiful background to set the stage.


Military Reserve

A little bit of everything—grassy fields, tree-covered paths, and wide dirt roads that photograph beautifully. Just be ready for some “Boise nature” in the form of sticker weeds.

Lower Hulls Gulch


Tucked into the foothills, Lower Hulls is perfect if you want variety without going too far. We’ve got hiking trails, wide open hills, and golden-hour light galore. Just note: the trails are hikeable only on even-numbered days, but there’s still space to shoot on odd days too.

Idaho Fallen Firefighters Memorial Park

This one really shines in spring, with rich textures, tons of greenery, and access to the greenbelt for even more variety. Plus it has my personal favorite, a weeping willow tree.
